China Logistics Group Corporation Ltd. (abbreviated as "China Logistics Group") was established through the industrial and commercial registration changes of China Railway Materials Group Co., Ltd. It is a centrally-administered state-owned enterprise with diversified equity, directly supervised by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC).

Representing the State Council, SASAC performs the duties of investor on its behalf. The equity of China National Materials Storage & Transportation Group Co., Ltd., CTS International Logistics Co., Ltd. , China Logistics Co., Ltd., and China Packaging Co., Ltd., held by China Chengtong Group and its affiliated enterprises, was transferred to the newly integrated group without compensation.

On December 6, 2021, China Logistics Group Corporation Ltd. was officially established. It is the only centrally-administered enterprise focusing on comprehensive logistics, serving as the "national team" in the logistics industry. The group is committed to "serving modern circulation and safeguarding national well-being" and strives to become a world-class logistics enterprise.

History

On November 30, 2021, China Railway Materials Co., Ltd. issued an announcement regarding the approval of the specialized integration of the logistics sectors of China Railway Materials Group Co., Ltd. and China Chengtong Group Co., Ltd. The announcement stated that the logistics sectors of both groups would be professionally integrated, with China Railway Materials Group being renamed as the newly integrated group, and the equity of relevant enterprises held by China Chengtong Group and its subsidiaries being transferred to the new group without compensation.

On December 3, 2021, China Railway Materials Co., Ltd. released a progress announcement on the specialized integration of the logistics sectors of China Railway Materials Group and China Chengtong Group. The controlling shareholder, China Railway Materials Group, had completed the industrial and commercial registration changes, and its name was officially changed to "China Logistics Group Corporation Ltd."

On December 6, 2021, China Logistics Group Corporation Ltd. was officially established. The newly formed group integrates the former China Railway Materials Group Co., Ltd. and four enterprises from the logistics sector of China Chengtong Group Co., Ltd., China National Materials Storage & Transportation Group Co., Ltd., CTS International Logistics Co., Ltd. , China Logistics Co., Ltd., and China Packaging Co., Ltd. Simultaneously, strategic investors including China Eastern Air Holding Co., Ltd., China COSCO Shipping Corporation Limited, and China Merchants Group Ltd were introduced to form close strategic partnerships.
